Laurie White graduated from C.W. Post College in 1984 with a degree in Communications. She has worked in broadcast television since 1985 beginning as a Promotions Assistant with SportsChannel. She later became a Feature Producer at Reid-Dolph, Inc. working for five years on Inside the PGA TOUR, a weekly ESPN golf anthology. She joined PGA TOUR Productions in 1990 as Senior Producer, writing, producing and directing a variety of programs including commercials, travelogues and corporate sales videos. For the last fifteen years, she has free-lanced for numerous clients including NBC Sports [1996, 2000, 2002 and 2006, 2008 Olympic Games], ABC Sports [Golf, Figure Skating, College Football, Super Bowls], CBS Sports [The St. Joseph’s Pressure Challenge, a golf reality show, The Chick Fil A Alma Mater] and Gaylord Event Television [Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf]. She has directed three long form documentaries: “On the Brink”-- a ninety-minute program on the rigors of the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament; “The Story of Golf”—a two-hour PBS documentary; and “100 Years of the U.S. Open”—a ninety-minute film for NBC Sports. Laurie is a five-time Emmy Award Winning producer.
