Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Established in 2012, Harri is a revolutionary talent and opportunities marketplace for people in the hospitality industry.
For Luke, the road to founding Harri has been a long one, paved by a spirit of entrepreneurship and willingness to dive head first into new ventures. With over 25 restaurants between Australia and NYC, Luke’s first foray into the food industry was at the age of 22, when he opened the first Burger King franchise in Australia. From there, his success in the category grew. In 2002, he secured the Australian franchise rights for the wagamama Noodle Bar and, under his leadership, it was listed as one of Australia’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies for 3 consecutive years. With his primary base of operations now in New York, he’s made himself known in the highly competitive Manhattan market with two restaurants that capitalized on industry trends: Ramen Co. and the local gourmet burger franchise of The Counter. Now, with this extensive experience guiding him, his latest venture is to solve one of the industry’s greatest challenges: finding great talent. His solution? Harri, the next generation of hiring technology, combining a marketplace and networking platform into a single experience, optimized for the hospitality industry.
