In 1998, Andy and Colette Bell founded a resource. Communities across the United States no longer had to worry about who was working on their home. Handyman Matters equipped its customers with craftsmen who were bond, licensed, and also insured. When it comes to our handymen, we know quality matters! And after 17 years, Handyman Matters is still the main resource in protecting our customers' biggest investment: their home.\r\n\r\nTo produce the highest quality product, Handyman Matters has to first produce the highest quality team. I recently gave up a successful 25 year career in manufacturing to start my own business. Why would I do this? Because I discovered a need in my community that I felt like I could address. Like most people I know, I own a home and I could not find reliable, dependable home improvement companies that offer a quality service. I performed several tests in my area and was shocked to learn how unresponsive home improvement companies are in general. Not all of course, but an overwhelming majority did not answer the phone, return phone calls, arrive on time for appointments, provide estimates in a timely manner, or provide any sort of follow up. When I was able to hire someone to provide services, the quality of work was average and clean up after the job was unacceptable. My mission and my passion became to change customer service in the handyman industry!
