2nd Line Distribution Support

Hachette UK is a book publishing group in the UK. The group is made up of several distinct publishing companies and imprints including Headline Publishing Group, Hodder & Stoughton.

I have over 20 years experience of VISTA 4GL, with limited knowledge of VMS DCL, SQL, Oracle and Cognos. I am now part of a large Support team dealing with customers face-to-face, by telephone or via email as well as travelling off site to our London. I have experience in the Order Processing, Sales Ledger, Sales Analysis, Warehousing and some Royalties systems within the VISTA environment. I have been exposed to Agile Scrum techniques, running teams and being a part of teams. I work well within a team or working on my own. I am a hard worker and always try to hit the deadline for work. I have supported both Publishers and Internal Distribution Customers with their systems on VISTA, and limited knowledge of Biblio3. I am currently supporting our new SAP Order to Cash systems alongside looking after our publishing clients who are using our Cognos reporting systems and Pub App.
