Mark oversees the operational, financial and administrative aspects of the firm. Mark joined Greylock in 2007 and serves as VP of Finance. Mark is responsible for investor financial and tax reporting, maintaining the firm’s banking and brokerage relationships, working closely with the firm’s outside audit, tax and legal advisers, and assisting Greylock’s Administrative Partner in the execution of the firm’s investment-related transactions.Prior to joining Greylock, Mark consulted at several Boston-area early-stage venture firms. In those roles, he focused on financial, tax, HR and regulatory compliance, investor reporting and communication, cash management/Treasury functions, project development and implementation, and budgeting and forecasting.In previous roles, Mark served as Controller at fund of funds manager Grove Street Advisors, and Senior Accountant at United Asset Management (acquired by Old Mutual PLC), a publicly traded asset management firm. Prior to that, he spent eight years in public accounting, his last role was Tax Manager at Pannell Kerr Forster in Boston.Mark earned an M.S. in Taxation and a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University. He is also a CPA.
