This mostly on line, non-technical, non-geeky course examines the intersection of higher education and information technology.

I am the Finance Director for Information Technology Services (ITS) at George Mason University. I provide operational visibility (where are we spending?), and contribute to superior decision making (where do we need to spend?) for a dynamic IT organization. I am a joint degree program graduate of Clemson University and the University of South Carolina with a Master of Public Administration (MPA ’09). I am a critical and systematic thinker who enjoys solving problems. I have experience in corporate and academic sectors, and am highly effective at building relationships with senior management and key stakeholders. Accuracy is important; I am a stickler for quality and systems to ensure quality. I have extremely high expectations for myself and those around me. I set high but reachable goals, and though I expect hard work and strong outcomes; I strongly believe in a work-life balance for my team.
