This mostly on line, non-technical, non-geeky course examines the intersection of higher education and information technology.
- Extensive experience in nonprofit management and media production, with a rich, varied background in public broadcasting. - Skilled grantmaker, including outcomes-based program design; RFP and guideline preparation; internal and external proposal reviews; grant and contract negotiation and drafting; and, project oversight and evaluation. - Comfortable working with and within complex membership organizations. - Adept at project design, budgeting and management. - Experienced in non-profit development and fundraising. - Strong communications skills, including television production, presentations at industry conferences, program and project reports, promotional materials, website content and press releases. - Comfortable traveling, working and volunteering internationally, with professional experience in Morocco, India, China, England, France and Ireland, and leisure travel to dozens of other countries. - Elementary Arabic and French language skills. - B.A. in Communications and M.A. in Public Policy (concentration in International Telecommunications).
