Global News is a broadcasting media company which provides community-based news, weather and information about issues.
I am a passionate and motivated journalist, now working as an online producer and reporter with Global News in Halifax. As part of my job I cover breaking news, manage social media and edit stories for both Global Halifax and Global New Brunswick. I honed my journalism skills at the University of King's College one-year program in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I love doing photography and experimenting with new ways of capturing the world around me. I am a lover of the outdoors, travelling and vinyl records. Before attending journalism school, I did a Bachelor of Arts degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, majoring in Communication Studies and English. I have worked for CBC Radio in St. John's Newfoundland and Labrador as an associate producer for their various current affairs programs.
