I lead Salesforce’s global people strategy, which includes Employee Success, Recruiting, Office of Equality, Real Estate, Safety and Security. In my role, I am responsible for building a workplace where tens of thousands of employees embrace the Salesforce values-based culture, and collectively believe that business is one of the greatest platforms for change. I focus on an empowered employee experience to help people achieve their full potential at work and deliver customer success. I have championed flexible ways of working, which has helped earn the company top spots on best workplace lists, including Great Place to Work, Fortune, People, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn. Before joining Salesforce, I spent 15 years at Gap Inc. where I oversaw its human resources efforts, communications, global security, global sustainability, and the Gap Foundation. I was also the Chief Operating Officer of Gap Brand and led Gap Japan as its Representative Director and General Manager. Outside of work, I’m proud to serve on the Board of Directors of Enterprise for Youth, a Bay-area non-profit that helps under-resourced youth reach their potential through transformative paid internship experiences.
