My academic and professional experience includes development of riparian restoration methods, vegetation and wildlife monitoring, characterization and monitoring of soil and groundwater conditions, irrigation management, and design and installation of remote data acquisition systems. I am generally interested in management, preservation, and restoration of wildland ecosystems. My primary focus is using expertise in riparian ecohydrology to inform effective development and management of riparian restoration areas to achieve project goals and promote long-term resilience. Specialties: Riparian community ecology. Riparian revegetation and restoration. Agricultural engineering, hydrology, wildlife science, rangeland management. Research design. Soil, surface water, and groundwater field and laboratory characterization. Biological survey techniques and study design. Instrumentation and data acquisition system design, installation, and monitoring. Project management, proposal, budget, and report development. Data management and statistical analysis.
