As a physicist I have spent a large fraction of my time understanding the physical world using mathematics. I have written code to simulate the physics of complex astrophysical systems, which involve compact objects such as black holes and neutron stars.Most of the analytical tools I learned during my bachelor, Ph.D., and postdoctoral appointments can be used for getting insight into a large range of questions, not only for understanding nature. Recently I have become interested in the growing field of data analytics and its reach across very diverse domains. I gained key experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, writing MapReduce routines and learning the basics of machine learning, by successfully completed the course Introduction to Data Science on Coursera.I am a quick learning person eager to bring my creativity, curiosity and skills to address current data science challenges.
