Dina Ting is a seasoned investment professional with a proven track record in delivering top quartile performance and strategically managing through exceptional growth in the business. Her investment experience spanned across public equity (ETFs, mutual funds, Institutional), FXs, real estate, venture capital, private equity, and investment banking. She has significant client-facing and media experience articulating investment strategies, product differentiation, and providing thought leadership requiring deep understanding of asset management, capital markets, portfolio optimization, trading strategies, index methodologies, efficient tax management, and risk management. Dina received a MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. She holds the Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses, and is a CFA charterholder. At BlackRock, she led the Institutional Emerging Markets team who managed the 70+ global equity portfolios for clients worldwide, covering over $70 billion of assets under management. Her previous portfolio management responsibility also included the iShares emerging markets and global real estate ETFs, a variety of domestic sectors, alternative beta, and the Canadian-listed iShares ETFs. Prior to joining BlackRock, she worked as a venture capitalist at Crimson Ventures, focusing on investments in technology companies. Dina also worked at Merrill Lynch’s Private Equity and Investment Banking Group. She has frequently been quoted in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Business Week, Forbes, SmartMoney, MarketWatch, IndexUniverse, TheStreet.com, International Herald Tribune, and Investor’s Business Daily.
