Ed is passionate about using technology to advance and drive commercial businesses. Working in the UK, Australia and US, Ed has delivered multi-million $/£ transformation programs across both the internal technology environment and consumer space. Most recently at Foxtel these include the Foxtel Go and Foxtel Play Subscription OTT services. These have grown extensively since 2012 in streaming (80+ linear channels and 10,000+hrs of VOD), device reach (from dozens to over 200) and platform capability (four headends rationalised and optimised to one). Previously at BBC Worldwide Ed was responsible for c. £5mil budget and multiple delivery teams, providing clear technology focus across commercial divisions from the UK HQ.
