Glen has found success in leveraging his passion for ecommerce, marketing, product management and software development to drive exceptional outcomes in digital and omni-channel initiatives. At Mercent, Glen was responsible for the development and day to day management of Mercent Performance. Mercent Performance is an online agency practice, specializing in: search engine marketing, shopping search, paid inclusion, comparison shopping engines, marketplaces and integrated marketing campaigns. Glen has been the senior manager responsible for product strategy and product definition in helping to grow Mercent Retail into one of the leading online marketing platforms for retailers including; REI, Nordstrom, 1800Flowers, Brookstone, GUESS, PetSmart, Ex Officio, Cutter & Buck, Woolrich and others. Glen joined Mercent from Car Toys, Inc. where he served as Director of Ecommerce. In the three years that Glen drove their online business, the CarToys.com team grew their ecommerce revenue by accelerating triple digit percentages each year. Glen returned to Car Toys in late 2008 to lead their ecommerce team. Prior to Car Toys, Glen was the Vice President of Business & Product Development for Egghead.com. During Glen’s six year tenure at Egghead the software retailer went through the metamorphosis from a 300+ store ‘brick and mortar’ retailer to an online only e-tail and auction pioneer with over $500 million in annual online sales. Egghead.com sold to Amazon.com in 2001. Glen has done consulting for retail, publishing and Internet marketing companies. Glen’s graduate and undergraduate work was done at Whitworth University. He completed undergraduate majors in Business Management, Economics and Accounting. His graduate work was in International Management.
