Folio Fine Wine Partners is a full-service importer and marketing agency that manages a collection of exceptional wines produced by families with generations of winemaking experience. Our goal is to become the preeminent purveyor of the finest wines from the world's premier and emerging wine regions.

At a young age I began working in all aspects of the wine industry from vineyards to retail, cellar, sales, marketing & finance. There is not an aspect of the wine business that I have not worked in. Although wine making is my joy, the sales and marketing side of the business is both exciting and rewarding, there is nothing quite like the close of a deal or a promotion well executed. Prior to formally working in the wine industry I owned and operating small touring company offering private experience in the Napa Valley. After this venture in the early 90's I spent time with a wine and spirits distributor in California. I then moved to Panama where I launched the Napa Cigar Company. At NCC we manufactured cigars in Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and the Canary Islands. The cigars were distributed throughout the US and in 5 countries. In 2000 I started with Robert Mondavi in a formal capacity in Atlanta GA as the SE regional manager. From 2001 to late 2002 I served as the Import Director for Mondavi then was transferred back to Napa as the Director of Marketing. In fall of 2004 I left Mondavi and the company was sold prior to the end of the calendar year. At this point two new companies emerged. Folio Fine Wine Parntners which imports, distributes and produces fines wines. Folio is family owned and our employees are also minority partners in the business which is a key philosophical aspect to our business model. A second company was started with my wife Lydia and our friend Patti Romano. This company owns two wine brands called Spellbound and Medusa. Coinciding with this my wife Lydia created 29 Cosmetics. After selling a multi generational family business, one realizes that balance and happiness are far more important than we realize. While my wife and I work a tremendous amount we take more time to appreciate life and realize that everyone including ourselves should spend more time with friends and family.
