Gina Mangus is currently serving as Senior Director, Guidewell Health Asset Strategy & Development at Guidewell. She most recently served clients with strategic services in the following industries: healthcare, software and agency/creative services, including an appointment as Chief of Strategy for Wired2Perform. Ms. Mangus previously served as EVP of Strategy and Advancement for Flagler Health+. In this role, she was responsible for devising and bringing to life an enterprise-wide strategy to further advance the Flagler Health+ brand, leverage strategic partnerships, and evolve the way the enterprise engages with healthcare consumers, businesses, communities, and philanthropists. In 2019, Ms. Mangus led the organization’s brand transformation from a hospital-centric health care system to a total care enterprise aimed at advancing physical, social and economic health. As part of this, Ms. Mangus oversaw a strategic planning engagement that culminated in the organization’s 10-year growth plan. During her time at Flagler Health+, Ms. Mangus also conceptualized and deployed the Flagler Health+ Publix partnership, which now includes 7 locations; she led the certificate of need process to open a neonatal intensive care unit; and she launched and grew Flagler’s formalized community health initiative, which is now its own subsidiary: Care Connect+. She led the organization’s digital innovation strategy, which has been recognized in national publications such as Modern Healthcare and Becker’s Healthcare Review. Ms. Mangus served as spokesperson, managing hundreds of interviews throughout the COVID-19 pandemic with local and national media. Prior to joining Flagler Health+, Ms. Mangus served in top strategic communications, planning and advisory roles at national and global companies in the sectors of laboratory information systems, wireless communications and automotive parts manufacturing. Ms. Mangus is very active in the local community. She serves on the Board of Directors for EPIC Behavioral Healthcare and the United Way of St. Johns County and is a member of the St. Johns County Health Leadership Council. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communications and completed her first year of a Doctorate of Business program with an emphasis on strategy and innovation.
