My career path has been rather unorthodox but there is a common thread: a longstanding curiosity about culture and human behavior, complex adaptive systems, and social change. I especially enjoy studying these things in the messy, wild, real-world experiments in collaborative cultural production that are the teams of creative people developing innovative web/mobile products and technologies that are changing the world. These days, as a consultant with hands-on experience and success with a variety of Agile techniques and a niche expertise in the unique challenges of growing startups, I'm teaching, learning and continuously examining the dialectical relationships between form & content, medium & message, and process & product.
