I am an audit, accounting and risk management leader with over 18 years of experience providing financial statement audits, audits of internal control, risk assessment, SEC and capital marketing reporting regulatory compliance, and due diligence services to a wide range of financial services entities. Throughout my career I’ve served numerous financial organizations, including community banks, consumer finance companies, specialized leasing entities, insurance companies and global financial conglomerates. Clients have commented that I am a skilled communicator and problem solver, and a trusted resource for C-suites and Board of Directors. Previously, I was seconded for two years to our London, England office where I provided technical support to British companies involved in U.S. accounting and reporting matters, and to clients involved with U.S. securities registrations. I coordinated 23 worldwide audit teams for consolidated reporting into London and was responsible for developing the worldwide audit approach and instructing teams thereon. I am a frequent speaker on Upstate New York accounting, finance, and audit industry panels, including the New York State Bankers Association and the Independent Bankers Association of New York.
