I provide strong senior leadership in sales, customer service, operations, and marketing. I have had the opportunity in my career to hold senior leadership roles in fast growing start-ups, venture capital turn-arounds, and Fortune 50 companies in both telecommunications and financial services. I also serve on the Boards of a number of companies. I currently lead the customer experience, sales, service, and operations functions for Esurance, a $1B+ direct P&C insurance company that was acquired by Allstate in 2011 and has more than doubled in size since that point. This role includes leading a large sales and service call center operation with over 1,500 personnel across eight locations. Prior to this role, I spent 3 ½ years leading the Direct business for Allstate, with P&L responsibility for a fast-growing, $750M line of business. Prior to joining Allstate, I worked as an international consultant, including a long-term role at hanarotelecom, in South Korea, as part of the TPG/AIG venture capital investment. I held the roles of CMO for hanarotelecom and for hanaromedia, which provided the fastest growing IPTV service in the world. I led teams responsible for product management, product development, advertising, CRM, programming and content sourcing for the entire breadth of products that hanaro provided to its mass market customers – including broadband, voice and IPTV. In addition, I led the inbound call center and operations. Prior to my time as a consultant, I spent six years in senior marketing and call center positions at Qwest Communications and spent more than 15 years in various senior-level marketing, sales and product management positions at AT&T, as well as multiple roles in marketing, engineering and operations. I received an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and a BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College. I also completed a graduate-level program on information networking at the Advanced Technology Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
