Director of Software Development / Operations at DST Systems, Inc. I have 26 years of experience developing software solutions and client relationship management in the financial industry. I have a degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University and certified in Data Science from Rockhurst University. Almost two years ago took on new responsibilities to create and lead a team to establish and position DST as an industry leader in the data analytic's in the financial industry. The position involves defining our overall direction, creating new revenue streams, identifying new products and executing that plan to create data analytic services and solutions for DST and the client base we service. Last fall rolled out the first DST analytic product that is currently being used by the sponsors in the alternative investment space. The product is an advisor recommender engine that evaluates the types of sales and velocity of those sales against a sponsors product offering to determine if an advisor is a good candidate to sell products. Clients using the product have experienced month over month increase in sales since implementing the new product. Prior to taking on the DST data analytic initiative I was responsible for managing client relationships and the operations area for multiple Full Service clients in the Alternative Investment (REIT) space. I was responsible for identifying new customers, sales, legal contract negotiations, legal and onboarding new customers resulting in a multi million dollar division. I remain involved in DST software governance and direction along with many internal DST business plan items and committees. I am engaged in several REIT industry user groups including chair for the Investment product association (IPA) Technology group, on the DTCC advisory board for the AIP product, IMN and REISA. I actively serve on the Statistical Advisory Group at the Investment Company Institute (ICI).
