Achieved extensive experience applying image-processing and computer vision techniques to a variety of sensor systems. Developed algorithms and software to automate the post-production of 3D 360 virtual reality video for display on Oculus Rift and GearVR headsets. Adapted methods for optical flow, 3D reconstruction, image de-noising and de-blurring to eliminate time-consuming man-in-the-loop processes. Directed research and development of new prototype products using scientific scripting languages such as Matlab and Python, and then led the transition of proven prototypes to fully automated production software using C++.
