Irene was one of the original pioneers in the healthcare technology industry since 2000, shaping the national reputation of DrFirst through the utilization of innovative techniques, cutting-edge marketing, and social media strategies. Irene has worn many hats at DrFirst over the past 15 years, originally serving as a Marketing Specialist, then Director of Account Management, Director of Inside and Enterprise Sales, Director of Marketing and PR, and Sr. Director of Corporate Communications. In these roles, she developed a broad understanding of the needs of healthcare stakeholders and was involved in developing all product lines. She has a proven track record of creating, implementing, executing, and managing a diverse variety of strategic initiatives in both B2B and B2C markets. Expertise in working with executive leadership to devise programs that short-term and long-term goals both on a corporate level and within individual departments. Recognizing the importance of preserving our culture while adding a large number of new staff and entering many new markets, Irene began informally supporting the HR team as an adviser to help keep the entire DrFirst team focused on who we are as a company and how we work together to achieve our goals. Irene currently is serving in the role as VP, Corporate Development and Communications. The focus will be on continuous improvement of the organization around performance and employee satisfaction, organizational planning, building a commitment to culture, and leadership development. In addition, she continues to serve in her role of managing internal/external communications, investor relations, and maintaining quality assurance around the DrFirst brand.
