I'm a Brand Management and Marketing professional with 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, data-based decision making, budget and P&L ownership, product design and development, product positioning, and marketing execution. ► I believe that the best brand managers take a personal interest in their work – possessing a borderline obsessive knowledge of their product and industry, allowing them to step into the shoes of a consumer. I pride myself on this, as that’s when my best and most creative work comes out. ► As a former management consultant, I bring a strategic thinking and focus to everything I work on. Like a broken record, you will repeatedly hear me ask and verify “what our goals are”, before ever diving into tactics. I am also not afraid to champion a contrarian view if the business fundamentals aren’t there. ► I’ve also realized that the primary job of a brand manager is to persuade and influence – rather than telling people what to do, telling them a story that supports your point of view. I pride myself on being able to tell clear and concise, data-driven stories, that can unite various perspectives and lead to actionable results. ► Finally, I am a composed and collaborative team member, who brings a level of professional fun and humor to the office.
