Lauren Schellenbach has more years than she cares to mention in the creative staffing business. Her experience runs the gamut from providing staffing solutions for large and small organizations, finding project and permanent job opportunities for creative professionals, and managing, coaching and training recruitment and sales staff. Lauren is a skilled trainer in all facets of instructional design from conducting needs analysis, developing learning objectives and goals, creating traditional and e-learning materials, implementing classroom or web-based training and evaluating a training program to make sure it achieved its desired outcome. She is a subject matter expert in creative design and production, marketing, advertising, recruiting, people management, coaching and performance feedback.Lauren believes that training is an important part of any company’s ability to stay competitive and retain good talent. Her mission is to change the perception that training is 'boring' and to create flexible, fun, collaborative, memorable and engaging learning experiences. Lauren heads up the Training and Development department for Creative Circle, a specialized staffing agency that represents creative, interactive, advertising and marketing professionals. Creative Circle is comprised of industry professionals, which gives them unique insight into exactly what makes a successful match for their freelancers and clients. Training plays a big part in making sure that this baseline knowledge continues to develop and grow in order to stay on top of the constantly changing landscape that advertising agencies and creative in-house departments experience.
