I have been working in the IT industry for over 16 years now. I started as a ColdFusion web developer for Poorman-Douglas Corporation (now Epiq). From there, I was promoted to Webmaster, where I was responsible for the Intranet and Internet servers, as well as Intranet programming. I then moved on to the Oregon Department of Transportation as a VB 6.0 programmer for a project to help the Office of Civil Rights manage contractor compliance. I was made the Technical Lead for the second release of the software. Following the completion of this project, I began a multi-year project using C# and WCF to provide ODOT dispatchers with real time data for coordinating incident responses on Oregon highways both internally and with law enforcement and updating TripCheck.com accordingly. I worked as both a developer and Technical Lead for several releases. Many of the processes I developed for managing deployments are still in use and have served as models for subsequent projects. Currently, I am working for my own business, G-Squared Software, LLC. I have handled a variety of projects for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon Board of Massage Therapists, Oregon Landscape Contractors Board, Cantel Sweeping, and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education of Washington, D.C.
