Network Relations and MPN and Lien Resolution Manager

CorVel is a national provider of risk management solutions to employers, third party administrators, insurance companies and government agencies.

I wear many titles: wife, boy mom, cat mom, fish mom, power lifter, macro counter, tattoo enthusiast, Pokémon trainer, Miss Fortune main, Minecrafter and manager. I got my start in workers compensation in early 2010 as a lien collections representative for a pharmaceutical company. From there, I expanded into litigation at the WCAB and ultimately started my own company providing hearing representation and business development for other collections agencies. In 2015, I became a Defense Hearing Representative for a Workers Compensation Law Firm that gave me additional experience to round out my skill set. In 2017, I joined the team at CorVel Corporation and founded the lien unit. What started off as one specialist and one client has blossomed into an entire team of lien specialists, hearing representatives, walkthrough specialists and admin support staff, and over 100 clients utilizing the service. In 2019 I stepped into a concurrent role as the MPN Manager at CorVel, overseeing a team of dedicated compliance specialists, Medical Access Assistants, Network Developers, Quality Assurance and Network Relations staff. I take great pride in the work that we do to maintain our network of over 130,000 treating providers, facilities and groups throughout the state of California. Our focus in recent months has grown to increasing the amount of culturally competent clinicians and specialists for our first responders and municipalities and I am honored to partner with our MPN clients to fill these needs for them. I am grateful and beyond blessed for the opportunities I have been given these past few years, and am excited to see what the future holds for me!
