IT Project Management: I'm an organizer. I rally the people and resources to get complex IT and AV projects done. I dig into the details and bring many years of technology and AV experience to bear on capital, application, audio-visual and hardware projects. Every project is a learning experience and I am eager to take whatever approach is efficient and meets the needs of a project's objectives (and budget). Team Management My education and life experiences have built a strong foundation that I apply as a manager in IT. Marketing, industrial design, user interface design and advertising experience form the foundation of skills that I employ everyday. Responding to complex issues, communicating professionally and responding appropriately are key components of my work. In a previous life I toiled away as a video producer in higher education where I co-produced and edited the short documentaries: - Bosnia: After the War - The Making of a Memorial: 9/11. In addition I produced and directed hundreds of athletic, academic, marketing and commercial productions. My early passion was in broadcast engineering. I have consulted on numerous video and audio installations, engineered and installed television operations, including automated systems, monitoring, switching, media servers and distribution equipment. Specialties: Maker Space concepts, digital design, information architecture, and the interesting things you can with control systems (human interfaces).
