My professional goal is to work in human resources as a representative utilizing my communication skills and business knowledge. I am majoring in management and marketing with the intent to incorporate creative ideas into the recruiting process, as well as implement creativity and excitement in presentations to potential employees.|I have gained exposure to the recruiting process through the Gerdin Citizenship Program. One of my main roles as a Student Leader is contacting employers to set up dates for them to come to present to the GCP group over many different topics. I have listened to a wide variety of recruiter presentations about different companies and my passion for helping others find their fit in the world field continues to grow. As a human resource representative, I want to be a beneficial resource for new employees to ask their questions to and talk about any concerns they have in order to maintain employee retention rates and help new employees feel comfortable in their new position. As a Cyclone Aide Advisor, one of my roles is to be a mentor to thirty-four Cyclone Aides by ensuring they are comfortable in their position as orientation leaders.
