Karuna Vempala (Known as Karan) is the Head of Talent Acquisition @ Cigniti. He leads the Talent Acquisition group and spearheads Hiring & Resourcing function for the organization world-wide. He collaborates with Senior Management and other key stakeholders to implement organizational level hiring strategy. He is on a mission of building a billion dollar independent testing unicorn in making and recruits finest quality engineering professionals including new generation technologies such as complex automation, Cognitive, Robotics , and angular resources to realize 500-million and subsequently 1 billion transformation journey of Cigniti. Karan is an Industry recognized Talent Acquisition professional with 2-decades of experience in Staff Augmentation, Solutions Hiring, Super niche skills hiring, Permanent & Contractual Hiring followed by strategic deployment. He has vast experience of Global hiring practices in countries such as America, South America(Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Mexico) United Kingdom , Canada, Europe, ANZ, South Africa and emerging markets . He demonstrates a phenomenal testing hiring expertise and built world’s best independent quality engineering organizations in his career trajectory. Prior to Cigniti, Karan worked at AppLabs (A CSC Company) where he drove Talent Acquisition efforts for various hiring streams and handled the world- wide hiring needs of a large multi-million Enterprise accounts. Karan delivered high volume hiring demands and implemented robust frameworks that attracted talent to various programs . These frameworks were instrumental in building strong projects and portfolios within the company globally. Karan’s “just- in- time”(JIT) hiring & staffing initiatives led to strong customer portfolios for the organizations. He travels to UK & USA to spearhead international hiring programs and deploys native resources for “Fortune 500” and “Fortune 2000” clients . He has International Visa legislation experience that helped him attract ,source and deploy native speakers for the prestigious clients. Karan is social and digital media enthusiast, Recruitment blogger, Networker, and a Speaker in Human Resource events and forums. Karan is an alumnus of the Pune University from where he completed his Master’s degree in Personnel Management. His academic profile includes a Master’s program in Human Resources Management and DLL & LW from premier business management institutes based in Pune.
