As an IT Director, I’ve been responsible for the people, services, and technology needed to operate and sustain a business. Working hands-on with my team, I manage the infrastructure and business systems, and the complex interactions among business functions, such as planning, communications, finance, human resources, marketing, sales, customer service, development, and internal audits. ►People: I’m an educator by experience, with a passion for mentoring my IT staff to build closely-knit teams who enjoy working together to produce great results. I educate through professional development assessments and learning sessions, blended with discussions and diagramming to improve understanding. Most importantly, I actively support my team’s efforts within the business community to ensure mutual respect and commitment. ►Services: For each project, I conduct thorough research to understand the potential impacts to business users. ►Technology: I’ve worked on CIO initiatives with upper-management visibility.
