Dr. David Beede is a senior economics and statistical researcher and team leader with 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. His professional interests include empirical analysis, applied econometrics, and microeconomics. At the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economics and Statistics Administration, Dr. Beede regularly conducts complex data analysis, authors research and policy papers, and briefs senior officials from a number of federal agencies and the White House. Dr. Beede also has served as a technical advisor to the Secretary of Commerce as member of the board of Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC).
