Calpine is an utility company that generates electricity from natural gas and geothermal resources.

I have built a balanced leadership portfolio including engineering, manufacturing, operations, project management and customer service. These experiences are essential to leading both office & field based personnel. Calpine requires operational and maintenance service products that are predictable yet flexible, a challenge to conventional project management. As a Director, I was challenged to build a new organization, processes and tools to support an tight knit service and support organization. Although planning needs to continually improve, my broad background and understanding with engineering, customer service, project management and lean manufacturing allowed me to design an organization and structure to meet the companies needs. The planning organization supports major maintenance events for 131 Gas Turbines, 51 Steam Turbines & 182 Generators. My objective is to lead the Calpine to become a more powerful and resilient through planning.
