My passions are interconnected. I'm a highly trained and goal-oriented Molecular Biologist with an MS concentrated in epigenetics who has worked collectively in industry, academia and government. My goal has always been to use my education and professional experience to put good out into the world. As a skilled communicator, I am best when connecting with and helping others. I am highly organized, efficient and a fast learner with a competitive edge who can land in any environment and quickly flourish. Most importantly, I am a team player who excels at collaboration and leadership with a strong commitment to achieving my goals. My breadth of career experience includes extensive work in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific and MRI Global on ‘concept to launch’ projects funded by two US Department of Defense agencies (DARPA and BARDA). I have been responsible for developing diagnostic products and following FDA regulatory compliance in GLP and CLIA laboratories, SOP development, and QC standards implementation. I have also been fortunate to have experience in medical writing for pharmaceutical and biotech companies on a variety of therapeutic areas such as oncology, combination immunotherapy, diabetes/metabolic diseases, cardiovascular diseases, anticoagulation management, neurological disorders and liver disease. I am a published co-first author (recently selected to appear in a special JBC pluripotency issue) and author on five published papers. Additionally, I have organized and managed an outreach sales organization for fundraising in a large non-profit foundation for HIV and Hep C support. A confident presenter, I am often an invited speaker and moderator at symposiums and conferences.
