Bio

I work with brands to create and execute social impact campaigns that are modern, authentic, and financially successful. As a nationally recognized leader in corporate social responsibility, I work at the intersection of activism, product safety, sustainability, and wellness. My niche skill set allows me to identify the ‘white space’ for social impact programs and help brands deliver on those bold ideas. Corporate activism is now en vogue, the demand for “clean” products is now expected, and consumers require sustainable packaging. But *how* brands craft, message and implement these programs are critical to their success. With deep technical skills in advocacy, clean living, responsible sourcing, and sustainability, my work leverages the power of community to mobilize people (and brands) for change. As a result I have: — Been the lead strategist for the passage of over 20 public health laws banning toxic ingredients in consumer products or providing more transparency for consumers and businesses. — Helped the largest clean beauty brand grow from a startup to a brand that garnered a $1 billion evaluation (the second largest acquisition in the history of the beauty industry). — Mainstreamed “clean” through building community and leveraging science-based and compelling storytelling. A strong manager of people, collaborative business partner and idea generator, I thrive in work environments that foster creativity and value cutting edge work.
