My vision: I passionately believe that in 10 years we will be able to advance the healthcare system to treat each patient with a frictionless experience. No more paper forms, no more duplicate questions, no more remembering medications or test results and no more repeating your story to multiple specialists. I am currently open to opportunities as a Corporate Board Director with companies that are working towards this vision. Together we can combine science, technology and curiosity to realize the unimagined. Achievements to date: I have led F250 companies through restructurings, mergers, divestitures, and business transformations, driving substantial growth and improving operating margins by 900 basis points over 4 years. I take a vision and make it reality through practical strategy development. She intuitively sees the connections of opportunity that exist in an organization and communicates complex changes needed in an easy-to-understand manner. With over 25 years in the healthcare industry including Abbott, Hospira (now Pfizer) and Baxter, I have held roles in multiple functions and worked with multiple regions. My broad experience introduced me to the power of diversity which I embrace with authenticity and curiosity. I effortlessly address cultural differences between global policies and local constraints. I have 10 plus years of experience in the software industry and corporate IT function. I ensure digital technology is adopted by the company for its true benefits. I have sponsored several ERP, software systems and digital programs as both as a CIO and as executive business sponsor, designing innovation through both process changes and technology. My board experience includes creating new by-laws, increasing board diversification, CEO succession planning and the hiring of two CEOs, reviewing risk management plans, and developing board education plans.
