CARLA DURHAM PITTMAN, Esquire is Senior Counsel for Baxalta US Inc. a subsidiary of Baxter International Inc. She is a senior member of the Transactions Law Team supporting Baxter’s biopharmaceutical business in Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs, Manufacturing operations and Global Sourcing and Procurement. Ms. Pittman handles general business transactions for the business and is the overall coordinator of Global Legal Support for Clinical Trials. She provides general legal advice and negotiates development, manufacturing and supply, distribution, licensing and clinical transactions for Baxter. In addition to her current position, Ms. Pittman serves on numerous boards and community organizations including Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (BWL), Echo Horizon School Board of Trustees, the Los Angeles Chapter of the Links, Inc. and the National Bar Association. Ms. Pittman has a BA degree from Northwestern University, a JD degree from Howard University School of Law and is a member of the State Bar of California.
