I joined Battery in 1997 and currently lead investments in the US, Israel and Europe. My investments include Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM), Anobit Technologies (acquired by Apple), @stake (acquired by Symantec), Champions Oncology, CrediFi, Diablo Technologies, GuardiCore, IDI Direct Insurance (TASE: IDIN), Istra Research, ITA Software (acquired by Google), Kashya (acquired by EMC), The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE; acquired by Euronext), MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS), ProfitLogic (acquired by Oracle), Powerinbox (formerly ActivePath), Pursway, Sabre (SABR), Stratoscale, The Tennis Channel (acquired by Sinclair Broadcasting), Vayyar Imaging, Ximian (acquired by Novell), and ZeRTO.I've focused on a variety of interests at Battery, including: venture capital and private equity investments in enterprise infrastructure, application software, business services, media and financial services, and I have been named multiple times to the Forbes Midas List, which ranks top venture capitalists from around the world. I'm also involved in a number of social-impact initiatives, and proudly serve on the Board of Directors of 'Maoz' – an organization identifying and accelerating the impact of Israel’s best and brightest public sector leaders who collaborate on cross-sectorial solutions to Israel’s most pressing challenges. I'm father to 5 amazing boys and husband to an equally amazing wife.
