Battery Ventures is a US fund with strong Israeli presence, investing in companies at all stages, across an array of technologies from infrastructure to SaaS and consumer internet.

Scott joined Battery in 1997. Based today in Battery’s Israel office, he leads investments in the U.S., Israel and Europe. His current portfolio companies include 8fig, Affirm (NASDAQ: AFRM), Array, BigPanda, Champions Oncology (NASDAQ: CSBR), Cheq, Code Ocean, Cross River Bank, HiBob, Higlobe, Istra Research, Jeeng, Kodiak, Lightbox, LinearB, Nexite, Next Insurance, NorthOne, Olo (NYSE: OLO), Sofar Sounds, Taster, UBQ Materials, Vayyar Imaging and Xsight Labs. Scott’s previous investments include Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM); Anobit Technologies (acquired by Apple); Credifi (acquired by Moody’s); Cumulus Networks (acquired by NVIDIA); Diablo Technologies; GuardiCore (acquired by Akamai), Habana Labs (acquired by Intel); IDI Direct Insurance (TASE: IDIN); ITA Software (acquired by Google); The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE; acquired by Euronext); MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS); Pursway (acquired by IPG); Sabre (NASDAQ: SABR); Stratoscale; Tennis Channel (acquired by Sinclair Broadcasting); and Zerto (acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise). Scott was named multiple times to the Forbes Midas List and the Forbes Midas List Europe, which ranks top venture capitalists. Scott is involved in a number of social-impact initiatives. He proudly serves on the board of directors of Maoz, an organization that brings together a network of the best and brightest public-sector leaders in Israel to collaborate on tangible initiatives to transform the Israeli public sphere. Scott graduated with honors from Brandeis University with a BA in international relations and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies.
