I am a sales veteran and specialist in the pre-opening of luxury hotels and resorts. I currently hold the position of Director, Field Performance Support with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts Pte. Ltd, directly reporting to CEO. I joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 1993 in a Sales role. Rose through the ranks, in the capacity of Sales Manager to Director of Sales & Marketing and went on to develop and expand new business opportunities. I oversaw sales and marketing department and spearheaded the pre-opening and establishment of 9 Four Seasons properties in the following markets: •Bali, Indonesia • Maldives • Shanghai, China •Langkawi, Malaysia •Seychelles Moved to a corporate role with Banyan Tree Group. I am responsible for all Hotel Sales Pre-Opening efforts as well as the roll out of Hotel Pre-Opening Sales & Marketing plans for each new property coming on-stream globally. Branding: Spearheaded and developed concept of Banyan Tree’s 3rd brand – Cassia and opened first Cassia flagship resort in Phuket in 2015. Currently, launching the company’s 4th brand - Dhawa and the first project in Cuba. Business development and feasible studies: Assist business development team in feasibility studies, financial projections and assumptions for the global market. Sales & Marketing Support and Deployment: As a Field Sales Leader, providing all on-property DSMs and GM with Sales & Marketing support to help them achieve their respective top line revenues and monitor overall hotel performance including deployment to ensure our properties are operating in cost efficient and effective manner.
