Allied World originally consisted of four employees located in a small office.

As Project Director, Tom applies structural engineering knowledge and skills to assess building components and assemblies, performs failure analysis, and performs non-destructive testing to generalize material conditions. Tom has analyzed, designed, and detailed hundreds of structural systems, including commercial and residential buildings, seismic retrofits, and adaptive-reuse structures. He produces comprehensive assessment reports to support the insurance and legal industries.
