Global Director of Financial Crime

Aviva Investors is an asset manager in real estate, fixed income, equity, multi-asset and alternative investments.

I am a professional Risk Director with specialisms in Transformation Risk, Financial Crime, Cyber, Operational Resilience, Investigations, Risk Governance and Audit, I have 20+ years experience leading teams and change across Asset Management (including Real Estate), Insurance and Banking, responsible for supporting and overseeing teams in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia. In my current role I am responsible for 2nd Line of Defence oversight of Transformation Risk, Financial Crime, IT and Cyber Risk and Operational Resilience. I also chair our Operational Resilience Council and our Financial Crime Forum. I am passionate about diversity and inclusion and Co-Chair Aviva Investors Gender Diversity Workstream and and Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am also very proud to be a Chair of Trustees for Jigsaw, a charity supporting children with additional needs, and their families. I have been involved with a number of industry fora across cyber, operational resilience and financial crime, and I have been privileged to speak at a number of industry events including the Cambridge Economic Crime Symposium, AMLP Conference and the e-crime conference, and have been interviewed by newspapers, radio and TV on the topic of investment scams.
