Tony Davis has a distinguished record of senior executive leadership in prominent global organisations, and most recently, as the CEO in diverse areas of distribution and manufacturing, which is Stewart & Stevenson LLC core business. Stewart & Stevenson LLC, headquartered in Houston Texas, is a leading manufacturer and provider of specialised systems, equipment and services to North American and Global Oil & Gas customers as well as key Power Generation, Marine, Construction & Industrial, Agriculture, Mining and Transportation (including On-Highway and Rail) industries. Previously headquartered in Singapore, Tony led the Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG (and the renowned MTU diesel engine brand) Global Network and Marketing organisation. Tony has successfully led large scale global businesses in a series of senior executive roles, including at Rolls-Royce Marine as Executive Vice President - Business Development & Strategy and Executive Vice President - Commercial. He has also previously served at Rolls-Royce International as the CEO and corporate Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand. Tony’s career has spanned nearly three decades working primarily in highly complex aerospace, defence and industrial systems global businesses with breadth and depth in business development, marketing and sales, manufacturing, operations and maintenance, systems engineering, project management, general company management and corporate governance. He began his working life as a combat and weapon systems officer in the Royal Australian Navy, which culminated in 1997 as a Commander with responsibility for the design, development and delivery of the ANZAC Ship Project Combat and Communication System for the Royal Australian and New Zealand Navies. Following his notable naval officer career he spent a decade at Saab where he held a number of defence industry senior management positions with responsibility for operations, profitability, customer interfaces and partnerships.
