I am an experienced communication professional with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) supported by extensive professional communication, marketing and media experience spanning state and federal governments and the tertiary sector. I have developed expertise in services and behaviour change marketing, social media, media and issues management, speech writing, as well as traditional management and leadership skills. I have solid experience in senior leadership roles managing people, significant budgets, leading media programs and campaigns, media functions and risk management. In my current role, I am responsible for the management of digital communities including social media, webinars and digital consultation. Before this, I worked at the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Queensland, responsible for delivering road safety behaviour change and policy campaigns. This included responsibility for the delivery of major brand and product campaigns, budget management and media and issues management. I have a reputation for building high performing teams who provide quality communication services.
