Asian Paints Ltd is a chemical company that provides Paints Wall Coverings Textures Painting Aid Adhesives.

Chief Manager - Information Technology, for the Asian Paints Group providing the leadership and vision for India Paint Business (Digital Experiences for Marketing channels/customer facing areas, HR systems, Research and Technology areas), Providing the technology solutions from Design to Manufacture for Home Decor Business (Kitchens, Wardrobes, Bathroom fittings, etc) and managing end to end IT needs for the International Businesses. I would describe my role as driving the "Digital" Agenda for the organisation !!!My role is to bring about IT enabled business innovations & transformations and at the same time bringing in the best in class governance standards. Understanding business objectives/drivers and exploring opportunities wherein IT can provide strategic advantage in the market place I work extensively on architecting customer digital journeys across all touch points, driving enterprise mobility, e-commerce & social collaboration and building teams to deliver the vision. I also have a business responsibility of driving the customer centricity agenda for Asian Paints across the organization. Over the last 18 years , I have been involved in aligning technologies and processes for the business with the objective of enhancing business growth and profitability. My team works closely with the business teams, understands their current/future goals and jointly works towards them. I act as a bridge with business and engineer solutions with the help of the in-house IT team/System Integrators/Solution providers/IT Partners to IT enable our businesses. Working closely with IT vendors, building strategic relationships and understanding their technology road maps does help in bringing better alignment. From a technology point, I have worked on IT Platforms covering ERPs, CRMs, BI, Social, Cloud, Analytics, Digital, Networking and communications, telephony systems, etc from SAP, IBM, Oracle, ASPECT, CISCO,Microsoft, etc
