ASB Bank is a financial services company which located in Auckland.

Formerly Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of ASB Bank. Commencing her career with the Commonwealth Bank Group in 1994, Barbara held a number of senior executive roles responsible for marketing, communications, human resources, retail banking and executive leadership in New Zealand and Australia. In 2011, she returned to New Zealand to take up the CEO and Managing Director role at ASB. Barbara retired from this role in 2018. Barbara has an extensive list of professional achievements to her credit, including being awarded New Zealand’s inaugural "Marketer of the Year" in 1997. Barbara is a former Chair of Oxfam New Zealand and a former Director of Oxfam International. She was also an inaugural Trustee of the New Zealand Equal Opportunities Trust and was its Chair for several years. A passionate advocate for gender diversity, Barbara was an inaugural member of the “25 Percent Group” which aims to improve diversity at senior management levels and within New Zealand boardrooms, a member of Global Women New Zealand, Champions for Change, and Chief Execuitve Women Australia.
