With over 25 years’ experience within the property industry successfully delivering schemes within the public, private and corporate sectors. In recent years, I have undertaken several leadership roles. I am currently performing the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Arcadis UK & Ireland. I am also still performing the roles Chief Entrepreneur. This role, is one which requires me to help both our Clients and Arcadis think about the exciting changes which the property and construction industry is going through. With a clear focus on digital solutions which drive value right across all elements of our chosen client’s value chain to deliver outcomes which support their business need and direction. Recognising the need for changing the approach and business models required to ensure value is experienced by all Clients through all elements of the partnership with Arcadis. Prior to my current role I have been accountable for market Sector Leadership and Client Account Leadership for ARCADIS. Whilst I have a diverse market sector background, the area in which I have focused in more recent times has been the Manufacturing & Technology segment. In performing my role, I have gained a wealth of experience in supporting clients analysing their problems, projects to identify the opportunities to create value beyond the day to day norms. I have supported many Clients across their value chain, from feasibility studies, through to project completion and beyond. Also, as part of the Sector Leadership role I have focused on the creating the strategy for growth of this marketplace for Arcadis. Though my focus has been Clients which operate within the UK and across EMEA, I have significantly influenced the global strategy for Arcadis across this market segment. Working closely with the Global Sector leader to develop the strategy along with the solutions and propositions which will transcend country boundaries and meet the core needs of Clients with global or regional property portfolio requirements delivering outcomes from a built asset perspective.
