I am a results-orientated healthcare executive with 25 years’ experience with both For-Profit and Non-For Profit Hospitals in Metropolitan and rural communities, achieving results through strong operational performance, exceptional teamwork, quality care, and growing market share. Having experience with an Academic Medical Center; teaching hospital; ambulatory surgical centers; geriatric psychiatric centers, Rehabilitation Hospitals, and long-term acute care facilities has allowed me to develop a proven track record of strong strategic skills and an excellent working relationship with both physicians and Board of Directors. My strengths include strategic focus, relationship development, crisis management, negotiation skills, financial analysis, teamwork, strong work ethic, and personal integrity. For example in 2007, I prepared and presented to the Capital Equity Market evidence of issuing and selling Non-Rated Bonds to institutional investors resulting in $176,500,000 and again in 2011 resulting in $55,000. Additionally, I initiated and negotiated an agreement with Franciscan Alliance for a Medicare Shared Savings Pan (MSSP) and Accountable Care Organization. And in 2013 I humbly received The Partnership of Excellence 2013 Platinum Governors’ Award for Excellence which is a first for any hospital in Indiana.
