Nick Risom serves as the firm's chief operating officer. In this capacity, he operationalizes the strategy of the firm, manages its global infrastructure, and oversees administrative functions. His experience encompasses a broad range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, technology, media, and non-profit organizations. Previously, Nick was with Alliant Insurance Services, where he advised clients on identifying and mitigating corporate and personal risk. He also provided employee benefits solutions for private companies, multi-national corporations, law firms, private equity funds, and family offices. Earlier in his career, he served as a vice president at both Marsh and Kroll. At Marsh, Nick provided advice and solutions in risk, strategy, and human capital. While at Kroll, he worked on a variety engagements including investigations, due diligence, security, and crisis management assignments. Prior, Nick created marketing and sales and strategies for new products and technologies and managed strategic partnerships for Duracell. Nick is an Executive Committee member of the Stamford Hospital Foundation. Since 2009, he has been chairman of Hope in Motion, the hospital’s year-round fundraising initiative for its Bennett Cancer Center. Hope in Motion’s signature event is the largest walk, run, and ride in Connecticut, with over 5,000 participants. Nick is a graduate of Lake Forest College in Chicago, Illinois and has an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
