Adam Winslow is CEO of Aviva UK & Ireland General Insurance, part of Aviva plc’s leading FTSE100 international savings, retirement and insurance business. Adam joined Aviva in January 2021 as Aviva’s CEO of International Markets. He has more than two decades of experience in life, savings and general insurance and has managed a broad portfolio across life and general insurance, with accountability for broker, banking and retail businesses. Adam was previously Chief Executive Officer of AIG Life UK, as well as CEO of AIG’s International Life and Retirement business. Prior to AIG he held a number of roles at Aviva including Director of Strategic Partnerships and Retail, where he was responsible for banking and retail partnerships across the life and general insurance businesses. Earlier in his career, Adam worked in Cape Town, South Africa overseeing a large business process outsourcing contact centre and began his career in Paris with Allianz Asset Management. Adam has a degree in history from York University and a master’s degree in European Business from the ESCP business school in Paris.
