After several years in film and television production and project development, I established a books on-demand bookstore by leveraging Ingram Books' EDI ordering system to order and ship books on an as ordered basis rather than stocking inventory. In April 1994 I encountering the internet via the first graphical user interface and saw the obvious connection between the Internet, online catalogs for mail order and streaming film & television content. I had the good fortune of being invited to put our books on-demand book business on the IT floor and MCNC, the supercomputer center in Research Triangle Park, NC, which lead to a consultation agreement to identify business applications for the state funded technologies hosted at the MCNC. This opportunity allowed me to refine my interest in bridging the gap between technically feasibilities and market opportunities. The current Covid-19 is forcing entire industries to finally leverage online technologies in ways that have been possible for years. I'm looking for opportunities to identify IoT market opportunities. What I bring to the table is a convergence of experience in telecom, wireless telecom, film and television and a passion for application development for IoT wrapped in more than 35 years of product development, business development and marketing.
