As a strategic business partner and executive team member, I align financial, legal, governance, risk, and human capital strategies with overall business objectives to improve business performance, create shared vision across teams, and resolve complex business challenges. I am uniquely positioned for board leadership with more than 10 years in dual roles as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer and an additional four years as Chief Financial Officer of a $1B public company. In total, my background includes over 25 years of experience as an advisor to, member on, or participant of public, private, and non-profit company boards and board committees. Throughout my career, I have •Worked in a range of corporate settings, including a national law firm and a billion-dollar, multinational infrastructure company. •Been repeatedly trusted to drive successful transformation, including building legal and finance/accounting departments, guiding multiple CEO transitions, improving financial performance, redefining business strategy, leading acquisitions and multiple restructuring efforts, guiding global expansion, establishing JVs, and cleaning up organizational disorder. •Advised Boards and Committees on, among other things, executive compensation, Board governance, M&A, securities laws, and legal matters. •Achieved significant reductions in adjusted operating and corporate expenses and improved cash flows. •Oversaw and led company investigations, including FCPA; whistleblower claims; and DOJ, OSHA, EPA and SEC. •Developed strategies for and resolved outstanding legal matters resulting in over $35M in cash proceeds to the company.
